Responsibilities
- Coordinates the internal flow of raw material and in process manufactured hardware to support manufacturing schedules and Operations commitments on engineering and production programs.
- Supports the manufacturing process by performing inventory management and the associated material support and documentation maintenance activities.
- Prepares and verifies assembly kits to meet pre-scheduled release dates using pick list.
- Selects stock using first in-first out system, checks and records solder ability date, vendor date code (when required) and quantity issued.
- Interfaces with materials and production personnel to resolve materials shortages.
- Responds to requests for materials needed for engineering or production programs, works from computerized reports.
- Ensures that materials are properly packaged or repackaged per required special handling specifications, when necessary, in electrostatic bags or as otherwise specified.
- Labels and stocks in specified bins or fills back-order requirements, both for the assembly floor or kits in process.
- Delivers completed assembly kits or point of use (POU) material to designated areas and if required, releases to work-in-process (WIP).
- Performs cycle count audits and physical inventories. Audits inventory records for accuracy on a regular basis. Checks actual stock against amounts recorded.
Requirements
- Requires a High School education and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Ability to get and to hold government secret clearance.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of PC applications including Oracle and iStar.
- Must be able to drive a company truck.
Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing processes.

Pay Information
- Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $41844 - $66952.
- This range is based on our market pay structures. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
