Primary Impact
- Ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant movement of materials across receiving, storage, and shipping operations, enabling timely delivery and operational excellence.
- Execute shipping and receiving operations by verifying incoming and outgoing materials, inspecting shipments, and ensuring all items meet quality and documentation requirements.
- Prepare and manage shipment documentation including packing slips, bills of lading, and inventory records with a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain warehouse organization by properly labeling, storing, and staging materials in designated locations.
- Utilize systems and tools (e.g., Excel or ERP systems) for data entry, tracking, and reporting of inventory and shipment activity.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, suggesting enhancements, and supporting operational efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and support teams to ensure alignment and timely order fulfillment.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations (shipping/receiving, materials management, or forklift operation)
- Ability to accurately perform data entry and basic analysis using tools such as Excel
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Proven ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for shipping and inventory transactions
- Knowledge of inventory control processes, including cycle counting
- Familiarity with manufacturing or engineering change processes
- APICS certification or equivalent supply chain training
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience identifying root causes and implementing solutions
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills
