Material Handler I - Dist
Job Summary
Schedule 2nd Shift - Monday - Friday - 330 PM - 1200 AM (based on business needs and job completions which could include overtime both during the week and on weekends)
Base Rate $16.50/Hour ($1.00 shift differential)
About the role
Supports Operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility.
Responsibilities
- Ability to use a hand scanner
- Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
- Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
- Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
- Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
- Transfers finished products to designated areas
- Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
- Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
- Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manager
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
- Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
- Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.

Education & Experience
High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Work Environment
- Material Handler Must be forklift operation certified.
- Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day.
- Exposure to loud noise.
- Functional vision and hearing required.
Physical Demands
- MEDIUM - HEAVY, lifting up to 70 lbs.
