About the role

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is a national distributor of quality maintenance products serving the fleet maintenance industry since 1958. This full-time position of 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) does not include weekends or holidays. Paid time off includes 18 days available during the first year. Responsibilities

- Safe and accurate manual packaging of product, putting away product, and picking orders. - Packaging inbound material including assortment kit assembly using package labeling system and printers, automated packaging equipment, scales, tape guns, mechanical stapler, and shrink wrapping. - Document packaging activity using radio frequency scanners and keyboard data entry. - Pick orders on the floor level of the warehouse using non-powered industrial equipment. - Perform cart put away, restocking, and assist with inventory cycle counts on the floor level of the warehouse using non-powered industrial equipment.

Requirements

- High School diploma/GED equivalent. - One year of general knowledge of distribution/manufacturing operations. - Average math skills and effective reading/writing skills. - Problem-solving ability and attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday in a warehouse environment. - Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Pay

The anticipated rate of pay for this position is $18.00 - 19.00 per hour. The pay range provided above is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects the potential base pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills.
