MATERIAL HANDLER I

About the role

This position is responsible for the movement of product from one location to another. Delivery of raw materials used for production and palletizing and shrink-wrapping of finished product.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production employees have ample raw materials to work.
• Provide additional work material as needed.
• Assist in production reporting to supervisor.
• Accurately record raw and finished product.
• Locate product on racking.
• Ensure cleanliness of work area.
• Keep workplace safe.
• All other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stack, fill and count products.
• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, stoop and kneel.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform key job elements.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience working on a manufacturing machine required.
