MATERIAL HANDLER I*

About the role

The person hired for the position of MATERIAL HANDLER I will work at our 3M INDIANAPOLIS, IN plant site.

Responsibilities

• Perform the goods receipt (GR) for both the finished goods (FG) and the work in process (WIP) at the work center level.
• Both physical and virtual moves in SAP for (FG) and (WIP) to appropriate storage locations within the plant and/or offsite storage.
• Load/Unload trailers as needed.
• Verify Shelf Life.
• Verify Paperwork for Quantity Discrepancies.

Requirements

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher completed and verified prior to start.
• Three (3) years of receiving/material moving experience in a manufacturing environment in a private, public, government or military environment.

• Effective email, presentation, and documentation skills.

Pay

The starting rate of pay for this position is $27.44. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.

Schedule

This is a Full-time – Full-time – 1st Shift (6:00am – 2:30pm) position.
