Pay

  • Hourly Pay: $18.72 - $19.15 per hour
  • Overtime Pay: $28.08 - $28.72 per hour
  • Shift Premium: $1.00 when working Second Shift

Schedule

  • Second Shift: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm
  • Overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed

About the role

Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. Products handled include automotive parts. Equipment used includes sit-down forklifts and stand-up tuggers. These roles support distribution across the US.

Responsibilities

  • Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
  • Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
  • Accurately pick, pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load/unload trucks
  • Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One (1) year or more of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
  • Valid forklift operator’s license (certified)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to work within a diverse environment and maintain professional relationships at all levels
  • Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
  • High level of accuracy, even under pressure
  • Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Must follow health and safety methods
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including various shifts
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
