Responsibilities

• Picking: Using a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands, efficiently and accurately picking products and staging in the appropriate areas, stacking, packaging, banding, shrinking wrapping and labeling products as determined by client requirements.
• Quality Control: Ensuring all products and orders are received, handled and shipped correctly, verifying that products and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies.
• Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance: Executing all safety protocols, maintaining a clean, neat, orderly work area, complying with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
• Equipment Operation: Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner and following prescribed work methods.
• Maintenance: Performing or assisting in building, grounds and equipment maintenance as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Physical Demands: Occasional handling/fingering, sitting, bending, constant walking and standing, occasionally lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling 21-50 pounds, reaching above shoulder, reaching outward, squatting, or kneeling.
• Work Environment: Exposure to unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate, occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Computer Skills: None.
• Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal).
• Mathematical Skills: Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
• Other: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance, ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.
