Material Handler/Forklift Operator- Tulsa, OK

Pay

$19.67 per hour (fixed rate, no less than local minimum wage). Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

Schedule

Monday - Friday with a consistent schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines
• Load, unload, and store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage
• Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk)
• Prepare paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance of equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area
• Assist in periodic inventory counts as requested

Requirements

• One year or recent forklift/warehouse experience
• Ability to proficiently and safely use a forklift to transport products and load/unload trucks
• Ability to understand and follow directions
• Ability to work independently at times under pressure
• Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting up to 75 lbs
• Ability to read and comprehend sales orders, purchase orders, safety materials, etc.
• Safe work record and stable work history
