Material Handler - Forklift Operator

About the role

This role involves operating forklifts safely to load, unload, and store building materials, ensuring minimal damage and accurate inventory management. The position is vital for supporting the distribution of building products across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and store building materials
• Prepare shipping paperwork
• Perform equipment inspections
• Maintain a clean work area
• Assist with inventory counts
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure minimal damage to materials

Requirements

• At least one year of forklift or warehouse experience
• Proficiency in forklift operation
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Clear understanding of safety guidelines
• Ability to follow directions and work independently under pressure
• Stable work history
