Material Handler/Forklift Operator - 2nd-Shift

About the role

This position is responsible for operating a forklift to help load and unload trailers, haul finished goods and raw materials, and pull internal shopping lists when necessary. This position works in a clean, consistent and safety conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast‑paced warehousing environment
• Ability to stand for long periods, get on and off your forklift consistently & safely, bend, reach, grab and twist
• Accurately complete required documentation
• Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment and processes as needed
• Follow PPE & GMP guidelines to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
• Attend dock meetings for team & company communications

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills are required
• Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, grab and twist
• Physical examination and pre-employment drug screen will be required upon conditional job offer

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Troubleshooting & problem-solving skills
• Previous material handling experience preferred

Pay

• Starting rate: $22.00 per hour
• Includes a $1.00 per hour shift premium
• Make up to $26.65 per hour through additional training
• $3,000 Retention Bonus available – payouts occur at 90 days, 160 days and 365 days of employment

Schedule

• 2nd Shift; Monday – Friday 2:00PM – 10:00PM
