Material Handler/Forklift Driver - 3rd shift

Work Location

The position requires the ability to work overtime. It may require working varying start times, end times, and weekends dependent on business needs. Core hours are 6pm-4am Monday-Friday, with Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Completes the forklift driver’s daily checklist form.
• Replenishes fluids and generates maintenance work request forms for repairs needed.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Picks and stages packaging and supplies at work sites.
• Receives materials from production by verifying and identifying information and quantity of materials, placing materials in inventory.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Verifies case/pallet counts and patterns.
• Reports any discrepancies to the floor and/or the department supervisor.
• Conducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to all safety methods and GMP’s.
• Affords assistance with inventory reconciliation process.
• Maintains inventory control system by tracking, moving, and shipping the product using “SAP system” and/or Excel spreadsheet.
• Performs duties in a safe manner and report all observed safety hazards to managers.
• Flexibility to work outside of core hours to support business operations.
• Performs all other related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience driving a stand-up forklift.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with a stretch wrapper and hand jack.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with SAP or similar preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Pay

The pay rate for this role is $25.00 hourly.
