- Second Shift (2:30pm-11pm)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Picking Responsibilities: Using a pallet jack to accurately pick orders, staging products in appropriate areas, stacking, packaging, banding, shrinking wrapping, and labeling products according to client requirements.
  • Quality Control Responsibilities: Verifying that all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly, verifying quality standards, and reporting any damages or discrepancies.
  • Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance: Executing safety protocols, maintaining a clean, orderly work area, complying with standard operating procedures, and adhering to safety rules and OSHA/SDS standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Operating a pallet jack and maintaining equipment, following prescribed work methods, and assisting in maintenance tasks.

Other Duties

- Performs other duties as assigned. - Works overtime as needed.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • No certificates, licenses, or professional designations required.
  • Able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6 months experience in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
  • Current or prior MHE certification.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for verifying quantities and performing duties related to handling, storing, and distributing client products.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to complete tasks promptly.
  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally: Handling/fingering, sitting.
  • Frequently: Bending.
  • Constantly: Walking and standing.
  • Ability to lift/carry and push/pull: 21-50 pounds.
  • Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
