About The Role

The Material Handler is responsible for managing the efficient and accurate movement of materials within the facility. This role involves overseeing inventory levels, receiving and storing materials, fulfilling production orders, performing visual inspections, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, the Material Handler must comply with company policies and regulations, report quality issues, and adhere to product compliance standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Safely and efficiently move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular counts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and store them in designated areas.
  • Fulfill production orders by accurately picking materials and delivering them to production areas.
  • Perform visual inspections for damage or defects and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Keep detailed records of material transactions, update inventory systems, and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed by Team Leaders or Supervisors.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions, including the Employee Handbook, SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual.
  • Aware of individual contributions to quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.

Additional Expectations

  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies, including the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure adherence to product compliance policies, laws, regulations, and market demands.
  • Adhere to compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to supervisors, managers, or the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of warehouse and shipping experience.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Current and valid Driver’s License.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Knowledge of online real-time manufacturing control systems, including MAPICS or similar in-house computer processes.
  • Ability to use various tools and measuring instruments.
  • Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, stooping, and crouching for an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment, or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.

Pay range: $21.00 USD to $26.00 USD per hour.
