Material Handler First Shift

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize 2nd floor raw material storage area
• Prepares raw materials for daily production runs
• Reviews pending job orders to determine type and quantity of materials needed for pending jobs
• Weigh and measure materials and colorants using scales
• Responsible for issuing all materials used post job completion
• Operate as a team player to assist in meeting department goals
• Operate pneumatic tubing cutter to cut off-line jobs
• Performs secondary cutting and packaging of tubing
• Absorb and assist operators when needed in collecting tubing
• Able to measure critical tubing dimensions such as: I.D., O.D. and length
• Responsible for periodic cycle counting of all raw materials
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education And Experience Requirements

• Entry level position
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferable

• Ability to be coached and a willingness to grow
• Responsibility: Assignments are received in task oriented terms from direct supervisor
• Scope: Receives pre-determined work assignments with specific instructions
• Complexity: Follows established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained
• Impact: Ensures that jobs are completed on schedule following established procedures and schedules
