About the role
The Material Handler supports sales and customer service by executing order fulfillment activities within the Engineering Services Center Team. Responsibilities include put-away, picking, packing, sub-assembly, assembly, kitting, quality inspection, participating in Hilti Lean methodologies, mentoring, and training new team members.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Prepare paperwork for related shipments
- Maintain inventory control
- Maintain quality service
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Interact with all levels of the organization
- Follow standard processes to build and produce standard and custom products
- Perform product modifications and packaging
- Package and stage completed product for shipment
- Keep work area, tools, and equipment organized and in working order
- Engage in department continuous improvement activities
- Verify specifications by measuring complete components
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of four (4) years' experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment
- Direct or indirect leadership experience
- Literate in personal computing, moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail oriented, thorough, accurate, organized, productive with the ability to seek and understand cause/effect of a given situation
- Exceptional math skills involving decimals and fractions
- Power equipment skills (forklift, pallet jack)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work in a team environment and maintain self-responsibility
- Able to stay committed, maintain integrity, and practice innovation
- Able to prioritize project pick/pack/ship
- Flexible with work schedule
- Willingness to travel to support Hilti North America distribution network
Qualifications

Pay
Competitive base salary with potential for bonus.
Schedule
3:00 PM - 11:30 PM shift with shift differential pay.
