About the role

The Material Handler supports sales and customer service by executing order fulfillment activities within the Engineering Services Center Team. Responsibilities include put-away, picking, packing, sub-assembly, assembly, kitting, quality inspection, participating in Hilti Lean methodologies, mentoring, and training new team members.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Prepare paperwork for related shipments
  • Maintain inventory control
  • Maintain quality service
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Interact with all levels of the organization
  • Follow standard processes to build and produce standard and custom products
  • Perform product modifications and packaging
  • Package and stage completed product for shipment
  • Keep work area, tools, and equipment organized and in working order
  • Engage in department continuous improvement activities
  • Verify specifications by measuring complete components

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of four (4) years' experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment
  • Direct or indirect leadership experience
  • Literate in personal computing, moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail oriented, thorough, accurate, organized, productive with the ability to seek and understand cause/effect of a given situation
  • Exceptional math skills involving decimals and fractions
  • Power equipment skills (forklift, pallet jack)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a team environment and maintain self-responsibility
  • Able to stay committed, maintain integrity, and practice innovation
  • Able to prioritize project pick/pack/ship
  • Flexible with work schedule
  • Willingness to travel to support Hilti North America distribution network

Qualifications

Pay

Competitive base salary with potential for bonus.

Schedule

3:00 PM - 11:30 PM shift with shift differential pay.
