Material Handler-DOL Day shift Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities

- Empty, fill, sort, organize and wrap/unwrap product - Properly build displays, folding cartons and palletized products - Sort damaged products - Safely operate various equipment and tools - Correctly utilize a warehouse management system and maintain appropriate work documents - Maintain cleanliness and order of work areas

Requirements

At a minimum, you’ll need: - The ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions and procedure documents - Basic math skills - Knowledge of warehouse and packaging operations - Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed It’d be great if you also have: - High school diploma or equivalent - Material handling certification - 1 year of experience in warehouse and/or packaging operations - The ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and work with precise standards of accuracy and within time limits - The knowledge to rate information using standards that can be measured or checked - Solid verbal and written communication skills This job requires the ability to: - Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights; carry, lift, push and pull up to 70 lbs. - Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time - Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and/or pull - Handle or manage tools or equipment - Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments

Qualifications
