About the role

Bigelow Tea is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Material Handler to support production and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Stage materials to support production schedules and keep work areas stocked for upcoming shifts.
  • Receive, store, and accurately document incoming materials and inventory transactions.
  • Pull, load, and ship customer orders and intercompany transfers.
  • Operate forklifts, RF scanners, and computer-based inventory systems.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy and reconciliation.
  • Complete required documentation, including receiving reports, forklift inspections, shipping logs, and inventory records.
  • Return unused materials from production and ensure finished goods are accurately ticketed and entered into inventory.
  • Build product displays and support warehouse and production operations as needed.
  • Cross-train to support other warehouse and facility functions.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Food Safety & Quality requirements, and company safety policies.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling preferred.
  • Forklift experience is a plus, but we will provide training for qualified candidates.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications
