Material Handler (Coating) - Temp to Hire, 2nd Shift

About the role
Transfer raw material from the warehouse to the coating lines in a timely manner and transfer finished product to WIP racks and/or crating area. Conduct cycle counts and rotation process while supporting coating line needs.
Responsibilities
- Pre-pull raw material based on the production schedule.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks or in bins according to predetermined sequence (size, type, style, color, or assigned locations).
- Use RF Barcode Scanner and workstation to make proper transactions, ensuring FIFO compliance.
- Store and rotate adhesive-coated rolls requiring rotation (WI# 3002).
- Crate coated rolls as needed.
- Conduct cycle counts.
- Support coating lines as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum six months of previous order picking and/or material handling experience (required).
- Stand-up reach truck/Hubtex experience (required).
- RF Barcode Scanner experience (required).
- SAP experience (preferred).
- Communication skills (written and verbal) at a minimum 9th-grade level.
- Ability to communicate in English and follow work instructions.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
- Ability to interface with other departments and employees.
- Ability to follow written Quality Safety Process (QSP) and Standard Work Instructions (WI).
- Ability to use rulers and common measuring devices.
- Ability to operate a hand truck and forklift.
- Meets job requirements while maintaining high productivity, safety, service, and accuracy within standard operating procedures.

Pay
The pay rate for this position is between $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on factors such as market conditions, location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, training, and experience.
