Material Handler

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Support, demonstrate, and promote Pregis’ core values: integrity, collaboration, customer focus, and innovation.
• Adhere to company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations, including all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain an orderly and safe environment.
• Inspect products for quality defects and report them promptly.
• Operate Fork/Clamp Trucks and enter data in the ERP system A/R.
• Maintain a safe, well-organized, FIFO-controlled warehouse.
• Unload and put away incoming materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety and work regulations, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Attend meetings and complete safety training as required.
• Report all hazardous conditions, accidents, incidents, or near misses to the appropriate supervisors immediately for corrective action.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Environment

• Exposure to moving equipment.
• Inside and outside work.
• Possibility of exposure to extreme range of temperatures.
• Humidity may exceed 80%.
• Noise may exceed 85dB+.

Physical Characteristics

• Frequent standing, stooping, squatting, up to 75% of time.
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 50 lbs.).
• Occasional typing/keyboarding/preparing documents.

Overtime expected per business demand.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
