Material Handler

Who We're Looking For

The Material Handler will handle raw and finished goods materials, facilitating their movement within the plant to support production processes.

About The Role

• Receive incoming raw materials and verify count accuracy.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with inventory control personnel to manage stock levels and prevent shortages.
• Maintain accurate documentation of material handling activities using computers.

Minimum Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
• 0-1 years’ experience in material handling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
• Ability to follow established procedures on routine work without instruction, requiring instruction only on new assignments.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) regularly.
• Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
