Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Maintain uninterrupted production flow by moving materials for production use.
• Provide accurate inventory transactions for materials placed into storage and/or transferred to the production line.
• Work in a moderate to fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and adhere to established quality levels within timeframes and workspace constraints.
• Report directly to the department manager or group/line leader for assignments and assistance.
• Work a normal schedule of 5AM to 3:30PM Monday through Thursday.
• Read and understand work documents and communicate information clearly to coworkers and managers.
• Able to use both hands for manipulating, handling, and inspecting required items.
• May be required to move, pull, lift, and horizontally transfer product weighing up to 50 pounds unaided.

Requirements

• US Citizenship Required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or stockroom environment and/or technical schooling in related areas, or an approved equivalent combination of experience, technical training, and/or education.
• High School Diploma.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand work documents and communicate information clearly to coworkers and manager.
• Ability to use both hands for manipulating, handling, and inspecting required items.
• May be required to move, pull, lift, and horizontally transfer product weighing up to 50 pounds unaided.

Skills

• ERP experience, preferably Oracle.
• Cycle counting experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand work processes.
