Material Handler Associate - E-Commerce

About the role

The Material Handler, Retail will primarily work in a production environment moving, storing, and retrieving donated products following Goodwill’s warehousing and material handling procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Moves, stores, and retrieves donated products according to Goodwill’s procedures and guidelines.
• Ensures sufficient materials are available for the production team to minimize downtime.
• Prepares items for shipment and tracks both incoming and outgoing products.
• Organizes and maintains a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient workflow.
• Adapts to new technologies and follows safety requirements.
• Works collaboratively with the team and adapts to varying schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous storage, moving, or shipping/receiving experience is helpful.
• Able to obtain walkie stacker and/or forklift certification.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and use a dolly and pallet jack as required.
• Able to work a varied schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays with occasional overtime.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.

Schedule

Full-time, variable schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays with occasional overtime.
