Material Handler Assembly Coordinator
Basic Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or inventory control environment
- Able to safely move product with tools such as pallet jacks, carts and similar tools
- Able to count using tools such as scales and x-ray part counters, and other measuring devices
- Able to support a flexible work schedule supporting overtime, off-Fridays, weekends, and/or alternate shifts to support product schedules as required
- Able to obtain a Government Security clearance
- Able to obtain a US Citizenship
- Basic computing literacy is required
- High School diploma or equivalent
Job Description
You will be the Material Handler Assembly Coodinator for our Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control team in Archbald, PA. Our team is responsible for managing material flow, inventory control, and supporting production operations at the facility.
What You Will Be Doing
- Works with Operations leadership, Production Control, Customer and Government Representatives on a daily basis in a courteous and professional manner.
- Performs all types of storeroom activity, including receiving and placing incoming materials into the storeroom and filling work order requirements.
- Moves product on the production floor to the next location.
- Requests and retrieves materials and supplies needed to support production.
- Supports all material flow for a specific assembly area.
- Has knowledge of assembly operations, BOM structuring, store room function, and personal computer usage.
- Receives in-coming parts, determines their destination, and completes all necessary paperwork involved.
- Pulls required parts per pick list, and verifies the quantity, condition, and description of received parts.
- Tracks material, parts, and jobs through the manufacturing process.
- Validates paperwork to product.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- Physical condition allowing: Lifting 50 pounds, Standing, sitting, bending, walking, 10+ hours per day, Personal protective equipment including Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and wearing a respirator when required.
- Adheres to safety guidelines and the correct procedures for performing tasks to prevent personal injury or damage to product and/or equipment.
- Assists in the training of employees as assigned.
- Supports continuous improvement activities and participates in problem solving activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills
- Responsible for training new personnel on policies, procedures and duties
- Inventory Control experience
- Familiar with proper Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive (ESD) handling processes & procedures
- Experience working in a receiving stockroom or shipping area, or loading and unloading parts, or packing or unpacking materials, and keeping inventory counts
- Shop floor coordination/material handling
- Able to work well with others and cross shift with others on the same work
- Able to be a self-starter and be able to work with limited supervision
- Demonstrated computer skills areas of LM tools including SAP, Apriso, Command Media, PAL and Windchill
- Demonstrated Microsoft Office computer proficiency
