Material Handler - Assembly Cell

Responsibilities

• Stock purchased and manufacturing materials to the assembly line and other stocking locations.
• Monitor material flow.
• Perform material replenishments to the assembly line and other stocking locations.
• Communicate potential shortages to the shop floor planner and assembly crew leader to minimize stock outages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to secure and retain a forklift license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a Lean manufacturing environment is preferred.
• A Lean implementer certification is preferred.
• Good mathematical aptitude.
• Certified in MS Excel and Word, and basic computer skills.
• Flexible to perform a variety of assignments and adapt to changing conditions.
• Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Able to make recommendations and effectively participate in the implementation of company policies and procedures.
• Able to work well with others.

Schedule

Monday–Friday (5-8s), with the flexibility to work 5-12s and some Saturdays as needed.
