Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment
• Operate packaging tools (machine and hand)
• Using RF devices for accurate material tracking
• Performs all other related duties as assigned

Role Requirements

• Previous warehouse and forklift/side loader experience
• High school education or GED desired
• Good mathematical competencies
• Attention to accuracy and detail
• Able to work in fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Able to read a tape measure to the sixteenth. Experience with micrometers and calipers
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions

EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE

• Experience using computers
• Experience with cutting and banding equipment is a plus
• Forklifts

Physical Demands

• Ability to spend 80% of the day standing
• Ability to lift 50 lbs (22.7kg) maximum occasionally with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs (11.3kg)

Work Environment

• Work is primarily conducted in an industrial environment; which may involve exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
• Adherence to strict safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential to minimize risks and ensure a safe work environment

Pay

The base hourly pay range for this position is $17.26 - $21.10. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
