Material Handler 6:00am - 2:30pm
About the role
The Material Handler is responsible for facilitating the movement of material to the production teams. This position reports to the Materials Logistics Supervisor and is part of the Supply Chain Team located in Indianapolis, IN.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate moving materials throughout the manufacturing facility
- Learn the Danaher Business System and how to incorporate it in daily operations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of prior manufacturing or distribution of materials experience
- Organized and able to effectively communicate
- Previous experience with: Use of Kanban for replenishing materials
Use of Oracle/ERP to execute timely and accurate material transactions
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
Skills
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Experience with inventory control
- Basic computer literacy

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
