Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for transporting airfoils throughout the facility using a cart, ensuring incoming racks are filled with the correct amount of product, and moving product from outgoing racks to the next operation. The role requires moving about the facility for approximately 95% of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Transport airfoils in trays from cell to cell, frequently moving trays for about 95% of the shift.
• Wash and dry airfoil trays to prevent foreign object debris (FOD) and wash/dry airfoils per requirements.
• Track production inventory throughout the facility.
• Occasionally move product/trays weighing up to 25 lb, utilizing proper lifting devices as needed.
• Learn and understand shop‑floor visual controls.
• Perform additional tasks within the scope and skill level of the position to support department objectives and develop skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts.
• Basic computer experience.
• Dependable, task‑oriented, and able to work with minimal oversight.
