Material Handler 3rd Shift

Your responsibilities

Operate tow motor, overhead crane, hand trucks and other small material handling equipment to move materials and finished parts throughout the various departments as instructed. This is a 3rd shift position.

• Load and unload truck for shipments to warehouse or to subcontractors
• Unload forging and other materials as received from vendors
• Unload work for in-process job cards and move materials to proper work locations
• Remove chip and scrap containers to scrap and loading area
• Lubricate tow motor
• Move tooling and other fixtures
• Perform all required duties to prepare and pack products for shipment
• Maintain equipment and other areas in clean and orderly condition; clear aisles and work areas of materials in process
• Report unusual conditions to supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• Previous tow motor experience and practices required
