Material Handler (3rd Shift)
About the role
Brunswick is a global marine leader committed to innovation and excellence in marine technology. We are seeking a Support Tech II to join our dynamic team at Mercury Marine, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to provide high-quality marine engines.
Responsibilities
- Forklift Operators - Deliver large parts throughout Plant 15 using a powered industrial truck, following safety rules and participating in 5S+1 activities.
- Lineside Operators - Deliver small parts to assembly lines using powered delivery carts and Kanban systems, adhering to safety guidelines and participating in quality and productivity activities.
- Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Operations - Replenish parts from offsite warehouses and maintain markets, using various equipment and communication methods, while following safety protocols and participating in quality and productivity activities.
Requirements
Ability to operate material delivery equipment in a manufacturing environment, training and certification provided. Prior forklift experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not required. General computer skills are required, with training provided for systems used in our operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior forklift experience and prior warehouse experience are beneficial but not required. Must be able to follow safety rules and participate in 5S+1 activities to maintain a clean and organized work area.
