Material Handler 3rd shift

About the role

This third-shift position involves preparing shipments, loading and unloading materials from trailers, and supporting our manufacturing operations.

Schedule: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (+ mandatory overtime).

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments to meet customer requirements.
• Load trailers in a manner compliant with DOT requirements.
• Unload inbound materials and put away in accordance with WMS (Warehouse Management System).
• Load and unload materials from/to trailers.
• Deliver materials in correct quantities to production areas as required.
• Perform appropriate transactions in SAP.
• Prepare necessary paperwork for transfers.
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment.
• Work in accordance with FDA and GMP procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Good math skills.
• 2+ years of forklift experience.
• Familiarity with WMS, radio frequency scanners, and their applications.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. on an infrequent, non-repetitive basis.
• Knowledge of weight distribution for proper trailer loading.
• Ability to store and pull materials from a racked environment.
• Capability to read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Strong attention to detail and flexibility to meet daily job requirements.
