Material Handler - 3PL (Storeroom Attendant - Non-Product)

Responsibilities

  • Receive all product items and process as per purchase order instructions, including proper receipt and possible issue in SAP within 24 hours.
  • Maintain accurate receiving and certification documentation for all valuations of parts (new, overhaul, exchange).
  • Process all part pulls (repair and engine) timely and accurately.
  • Accurately maintain the Kanban system within SAP.
  • Notify the provisioning team of any potential part shortages.
  • Professionally and proficiently process all “window” parts requests.
  • Process all bench stock refill requests within 24 hours.
  • Properly label all parts issued and stored according to ASP 411.
  • Create storeroom sales orders and route through CRB as required.
  • Scan all PWC certs into the Fastindex system and perform audit trail verification.
  • Perform an annual cycle count of all stocked inventory and correct discrepancies if required; maintain documentation of cycle counts.
  • Maintain inventory levels and properly issue parts to CS orders from balance and test cell tackle boxes.
  • Provide copies of certifications as required to quality.
  • Perform parts movements as required (e.g., RTS and re-issue, spacer movements, plant-to-plant transfers).
  • Receive and issue non-product items, including proper receipt into SAP when required and data entry of non-product request slips.
  • Receive and issue Bruckner items, including proper receipt/issue within the Bruckner system.
  • Liaise with Bruckner to resolve any issues with orders to ensure prompt delivery of items.
  • Receive and issue Spot Buys within the Bruckner system, including proper receipt/issue.
  • Create request for purchase (RFP) for all maintained non-product stock and work with the non-product buyer to ensure items are ordered and received to avoid line-stop situations.
  • Return incorrect or damaged stock (both non-product and Bruckner items), liaise with the appropriate vendor, and create the required shipping paperwork.
  • Label all Loctite’s, sealants, and lubes with PO number, expiration date, and received date; ensure certificates of analysis or compliance are received per ASP.
  • Monitor shelf-life inventory for expiration dates and properly dispose of any expired inventory.
  • Maintain stock in all Repair Line Kanban cabinets.
  • Comply with all company work rules, follow safe work practices and procedures to protect the environment, and report unsafe acts, hazardous conditions, or potential environmental impacts.
  • Read, understand, and comply with UTC's Code of Ethics, including reporting actual or suspected violations.
  • Perform all other storeroom-related duties as required or assigned.
