Material Handler - 2nd Shift
Position Summary
Amerhart is hiring 2nd Shift Material Handlers in their Green Bay facility. The primary responsibility is to handle shipping, receiving, and stocking warehouse materials. This role requires teamwork, safety, and adherence to safety policies.
About the role
The role involves loading outgoing trucks, picking orders, unloading trucks and railcars, reporting issues, and collaborating with the WMS coordinator. It also includes miscellaneous functions like filling orders, maintaining equipment, inspecting forklifts, and cross-training.
Responsibilities
- Load outgoing trucks for the following day in an efficient manner.
- Pick orders using a forklift until the order is completely filled.
- Unload common carrier trucks and railroad cars and replenish product in the designated location in the warehouse.
- Report any problems such as shortages or damaged material, etc.
- Use handheld scanner when receiving product, picking orders, loading trucks and cycle counting in accordance with Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes.
- Cross train and back-up others in warehouse.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years of forklift driving experience required with some experience in a distributorship preferred.
- Neat and clean appearance.
- Proven ability to work as a member of a team.

Pay
Pay Rate of $21.25/hour + $1.50/hour (Shift differential pay) = $22.75/hour
Schedule
2nd Shift training schedule is as follows:
- 1st 2 months of training: 7:30am CST - Finished
- Months 2-3 of training: Noon - 8pm CST
- Trained (After 3 months): 4pm - Midnight CST (last truck loaded)
