Material Handler 2 - Side Loader - 2nd shift

About the role

We’re looking for skilled and detail-oriented individuals to operate forklifts, overhead cranes or other mobile equipment to perform a variety of intermediate and complex activities such as receiving inventory, loading and unloading, as well as staging and moving raw materials and finished goods within or near plant, yard, warehouse or work site.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods onto or from pallets, industrial racks, trailers, trucks, etc.
• Transport materials from storage or production areas and place in designated areas.
• Lift and position materials using lifting devices such as cranes and forklifts as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain and organize material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.

• Have a keen eye for detail and take pride in producing quality work.
• Enjoy hands-on roles and working with machinery or are eager to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes or other mobile equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license.

Pay and Schedule

Pay for this position is $23.24 and will include a $2 shift differential. Hours are Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm with some overtime required.
