Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment; adhere to safety policies, procedures, and processes
- Operate forklifts, walkie riders, and other material handling equipment to transport parts to the production floor
- Set up and organize material storage racks, bins, and carts to prevent damage or loss of materials
- Create and maintain drop areas for part deliveries and effectively manage inventory
- Absorb and move materials as needed on the production floor
- Conduct accurate counts of materials and participate in cycle counts as directed
- Report any issues with materials, including damaged or rejected parts, to the leadership team
Requirements
- Previous experience in material handling, warehouse, or shipping/receiving roles is essential
- Forklift operation experience is required
- Consistent work history demonstrating longevity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical
Pay
$25.24 per hour
Schedule
Monday through Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm
