Responsibilities

• Safely drive a forklift to stage material, load trucks, unload trucks, and transfer material within the plant and between departments as needed.
• Keep safety at the forefront of the team’s thinking and approach to work; ensure all safety procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Maintain a safe, well-organized, FIFO (first in, first out) controlled warehouse per Pregis Best Practice.
• Maintain inventory by identifying and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, and securing product in the correct location.
• Be a reliable team member, identifying and professionally communicating ways to improve the work environment.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sit-down forklift experience.
• 1+ years of inventory control experience.
• Experience with Inventory Control/Warehouse Management software (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving equipment.
• Inside work; heat may exceed 90°F, humidity may exceed 80%.
• Noise may exceed 85dB.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, stooping, sitting.
• Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling.

Schedule

Shifts available: 6 AM–6 PM and 6 PM–6 AM (2-2-3 schedule). Overtime expected per business demand.
