Material Handler 1/Forklift - (Stand-Up and Forklift Driving Exp) 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Job Description

Pallet/Case Picking
Processing customer orders including but not limited to: scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes.
Pick and pack orders.
Processing orders through RF technology.
Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions.
Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.

Completes all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles.
Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.

Pallet Build
Palletizing to include scanning, retrieving and placing completed orders on pallets.
Re-palletizing products for shipment.
May be responsible for dock manifest duties which includes scanning completed pallets and running the shrink wrapper.
May be required to transport pallets by walking MHE.

Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.

Additional Duties
Must follow all safety instructions to maintain safe working conditions and to adhere to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injuries and illnesses.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Experience with Walkie Ryder (motorized Pallet Jack) preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects.
• Ability to work in a fast paced distribution environment.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• May be required to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner.
• Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
• General distribution knowledge.

Skills

• Physical stamina and strength to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
• Knowledge of RF technology and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Ability to follow safety instructions and operate machinery safely.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Understanding of distribution processes and systems.

• 3-2-2-3 Schedule
• Weekends included
• Work schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
