Material Handler - $1,500 Sign-On Bonus

About the role

The Material Handler performs a wide variety of inventory handling and processing activities in a high-tech manufacturing environment. This full-time, second-shift position offers opportunities to learn, develop, and advance your career in a skilled trade.

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday, 2:45 PM – 12:45 AM

Pay

• Competitive starting wage based on experience
• $1,500 sign-on bonus for newly-hired, full-time employees, paid after successful completion of the 90-day probationary period

Responsibilities

• Pick and replenish Point of Use material required for production departments
• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and quality, and document discrepancies using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
• Perform inventory transactions in the ERP
• Ensure all materials are properly identified, stored, and tracked
• Follow First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory practices
• Adhere to company Safety and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) policies
• Conduct cycle counts of material
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S practices
• Operate material handling equipment safely
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Basic English, math, and computer skills (e.g., Microsoft applications)
• Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Organized self-starter with a positive attitude
• Working knowledge of QAD ERP system is a plus

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to sit, hear, talk, use hands to handle objects/tools, and reach with hands and arms
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to stand in one area for long periods with minimal breaks
• Physical ability to move freely and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to go up and down steps
• Frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs

• Exposure to prevailing weather conditions
• Moderate noise level in the work environment
