Crestview Aerospace manufactures complex assemblies and parts for aerospace applications, offering an integrated manufacturing process that delivers fabricated parts, in-house processing, and complex assemblies for both fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. Responsibilities
- Performs multiple tasks on an assigned team, project, or functional area within full-scale production manufacturing operations, including non-routine and non-repetitive production electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical assembly.
- Conducts quality assurance and reliability testing following established methods and procedures.
- Handles production scheduling and control, coordinating, planning, and expediting the flow of material, parts, and assemblies.
- Must pass all job-specific or specialized certification programs required for core tasks or assignments.
- May participate in process improvement projects to enhance program quality, cost, and scheduling.
- Performs regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Updates inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Maintains a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse to ensure a safe work environment.
- Safely operates forklifts, pallet jacks, Order Pickers, and other material-handling equipment.
- Conducts routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment remains in good working order.
- Lifts and moves objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and flexible hours as required.
- Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math skills for inventory and order accuracy.
Physical Requirements
- Primarily works in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
- Must be able to work in conditions involving noise, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, and electrical current.
- Must be able to bend, reach, and maintain close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection of small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be able to maneuver up to 50 pounds.
- Performs substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Training will be provided for this position.
