Responsibilities
- Monitor material availability and production shortages using inventory and production systems.
- Research and locate materials needed to support production operations.
- Complete inventory, material movement, and work order transactions accurately within company systems.
- Generate quality notifications and transfer materials as required for quality review.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy activities.
- Review and resolve work order discrepancies to support inventory and financial accuracy.
- Prioritize and deliver urgent materials to production areas to minimize downtime.
- Move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods to designated locations.
- Create and maintain documentation related to material movement and inventory control.
- Coordinate material flow between production departments to support manufacturing schedules.
- Monitor shortage reports and communicate material status updates to production and planning teams.
- Audit and replenish Kanban inventory to support continuous production operations.
- Ensure adequate levels of production materials are maintained on the manufacturing floor.
