Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles while following all traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Drive a daily local route to transport raw materials, work-in-process, finished products, and supplies between company facilities, vendors, customers, and subcontractors.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Secure and protect loads using proper straps, tie-downs, and safe loading practices.
  • Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other approved material handling equipment.
  • Verify shipping paperwork, packing slips, bills of lading, and delivery documentation for accuracy.
  • Assist with receiving incoming materials and inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by assisting with material transactions, cycle counts, and inventory organization.
  • Cookise with deliveries with Production Control, Shipping, Purchasing, and Receiving departments.
  • Keep company vehicles, warehouse areas, and loading docks clean and organized.
  • Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and quality procedures.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, warehouse, and material control duties when deliveries are not scheduled.
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism while representing Maynard Inc. during deliveries.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certificate (company will coordinate the required physical examination).
  • Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, shipping, warehouse, material control, or delivery driving preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping documentation.
  • Ability to read shipping documents, work orders, and inventory records.
  • Dependable attendance with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
  • Frequently walk, stand, bend, climb, and load/unload materials.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Pay

$18.00–$22.00/hour (Dependent on merit, experience, and productivity)

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime available as needed)
