About the role

Pure Swansea Football Club is seeking enthusiastic volunteer Match Reporters to cover our Men’s and/or Women’s teams. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in football journalism, sports media, content creation, or gaining experience within a football club environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend matches and take notes on key events.
• Produce engaging and accurate match reports for publication on the club’s website and social media channels.
• Capture key statistics, goalscorers, substitutions, and notable moments.
• Work with club staff and media volunteers to ensure timely publication of content.
• Help promote the achievements of our players and teams.

Requirements

• Strong written communication skills.
• A passion for football and local sport.
• Reliability and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good attention to detail.
• Previous writing or reporting experience is welcome but not essential.
