Role Type: Volunteer Location: Swansea and surrounding match venues Commitment: Matchdays (Men’s and/or Women’s fixtures) About The Role Pure Swansea Football Club is seeking enthusiastic volunteer Match Reporters to cover our Men’s and/or Women’s teams. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in football journalism, sports media, content creation, or gaining experience within a football club environment. Key Responsibilities Attend matches and take notes on key events.Produce engaging and accurate match reports for publication on the club’s website and social media channels.Capture key statistics, goalscorers, substitutions, and notable moments.Work with club staff and media volunteers to ensure timely publication of content.Help promote the achievements of our players and teams. What We’re Looking For Strong written communication skills.A passion for football and local sport.Reliability and ability to meet deadlines.Good attention to detail.Previous writing or reporting experience is welcome but not essential. What You’ll Gain Practical experience in sports journalism and football media.Portfolio-building opportunities with published match reports.Behind-the-scenes experience at a community football club.The chance to support and promote grassroots football in Swansea.
