Mastercut Operator - 3rd Shift

About the role

Mastercut Operator is responsible for operating machinery to cut out parts of specified size and shape from corrugated board and properly offloading and inspecting finished material.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine to cut out parts of specified size and shape from corrugated board.
• Position and secure cutting dies to bed of machine using hand tools.
• Cut and secure matrix scoring to cutting dies.
• Place and secure stripping jigs using clamps.
• Adjust tonnage according to thickness of the material or height of cutting die.
• Measure finished parts with rule to verify conformance to specifications.
• Remove and stack finished material into units.
• May perform minor repairs on dies.
• Enter finished information into computer.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Die Cut Experience.
• Desired: Additional Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities including safety sensitivity, ability to work overtime and weekends, ability to work on a rotating shift, teamwork, interaction with a wide variety of roles, computer functions, hand tools operation, and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• Safety sensitive position.
• Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people.

Skills

• Ability to operate hand tools.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Pay

$25.73 - $27.58 per hour.

Schedule

3rd Shift: 11pm - 7am.
