About the role
The California Hospital Medical Center Early Care and Education programs provide early care and education services for infants, toddlers, and preschool children. Center-based Early Care and Education programs are open year-round from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Planning and preparing daily classroom activities.
- Direct instructional services.
- Maintaining high quality classroom environments.
- Daily record keeping.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience working with children birth to five years.
- Bachelor's degree in Child Development or a minimum of 24 Child Development units required.
- Current CPR and First Aid training required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish language skills preferred.
- California Department of Education Teacher Permit preferred.

- Exceptional expertise in early childhood education.
- Proven ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environments.
- Strong collaborative skills for working with parents and managing program documentation.
