About the role

The California Hospital Medical Center Early Care and Education programs provide early care and education services for infants, toddlers, and preschool children. Center-based Early Care and Education programs are open year-round from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Planning and preparing daily classroom activities.
• Direct instructional services.
• Maintaining high quality classroom environments.
• Daily record keeping.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience working with children birth to five years.
• Bachelor's degree in Child Development or a minimum of 24 Child Development units required.
• Current CPR and First Aid training required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish language skills preferred.
• California Department of Education Teacher Permit preferred.

• Proven ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environments.
• Strong collaborative skills for working with parents and managing program documentation.
