Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited master's level program, majoring in a human service-related field, including social work, psychology, or clinical counseling.
• Sufficient weekly availability to meet experiential learning requirements:
  • Practicum: Minimum of 15 hours per week
  • Internship I and Internship II: Minimum of 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy services (individual, couple, and family).
• Conduct intake assessments.
• Facilitate group therapy.
• Coordinate care under the leadership of the clinic director, psychiatrist, and clinical supervisor.
• Initiate active engagement of clients and promote retention.
• Provide therapy to individuals suffering from mild to severe forms of mental illness.

This role is a primary member of a treatment team in the clinic's behavioral health program for Merakey.
