About the role

Bishop Woodcraft builds custom staircases and railings for estate homes across the Mountain West—the kind of work designers and luxury builders stake their reputations on. We're looking for an installer who takes pride in the joint nobody else would notice and the finish the homeowner can't stop touching. You'd install custom wood staircases and railing systems in high-end homes, read detailed shop drawings, and finish every piece to a standard you'd put your name on.

Responsibilities

• Install custom wood staircases and railing systems in high-end homes
• Read and interpret detailed shop drawings
• Ensure high-quality finish on all pieces
• Communicate effectively when something is off or needs adjustment

Requirements

• Real woodworking skill and an eye for detail
• Experience with custom staircases/railings or strong finish carpentry
• Reliability and professionalism in clients' homes
• Ability to read drawings and speak up when something's off

Pay

$35–$50/hr, depending on experience, plus performance bonuses that reward quality.
