About the role
Freese and Nichols is seeking a Water/Wastewater Master Planning & Modeling Project Manager based in one of our Central Plains Offices: Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Rogers, Arkansas or Overland Park, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead technical tasks, develop scope/fee and support business development activities, including proposal development for water/wastewater master planning and hydraulic modeling projects.
- Lead multiple project teams for municipal water and wastewater studies, such as: water and wastewater master plans, water distribution and sewer collection system hydraulic modeling, water quality modeling in distribution systems and asset management.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
- Work with utilities to solve complex issues and develop capital improvement plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Oklahoma, Arkansas or Kansas.
- 4+ years of related experience.
- Preferred expertise with hydraulic modeling software, such as Innovyze products (InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM SE, InfoSewer, InfoSWMM, H2OSURGE, InfoAsset Planner) and/or Bentley products (SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, Hammer).
- Experience with GIS applications in water and wastewater planning.
- Experience in client development, sales/marketing, proposal development.
- Excellent communication skills, both technical writing and verbal.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

- Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- Preferred expertise with hydraulic modeling software, such as Innovyze products (InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM SE, InfoSewer, InfoSWMM, H2OSURGE, InfoAsset Planner) and/or Bentley products (SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, Hammer).
- Experience with GIS applications in water and wastewater planning.
- Experience in client development, sales/marketing, proposal development.

- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
Salary range: $85,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
Hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work.
