Master Planner - Planning SME

About the role

This position provides planning/scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements located in multiple locations. The candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.

Responsibilities

• Advises the Program Management team when and if a contractual impact is expected or when critical events have happened, including factors which may impact delivery or cost.
• Ensure Communication and Cross-coordination with IPTs.
• Develop/refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Interact across a variety of program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management and production.
• Show strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
• Prepare status reports, metrics and make presentations as required.
• Demonstrate strong self-starter and Program Planning and Scheduling hands-on experience.

Requirements

• Experience with Critical Path Methodology and its application in schedule network development and analysis.
• Experience in schedule control processes, proposal development, internal & external audits, and project management integration.
• Experience with Proposal development.
• Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input.
• Experience with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool.
• Experience working Engineering Manufacturing and Development (EMD) programs.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Experience with IPMDAR (Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report).

Qualifications

• DoD Secret security clearance or equivalent.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with Program Planning and Scheduling hands-on experience.
