Master Planner

About the role

This position provides planning/scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements located in multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.
• Advises the Program Management team when and if a contractual impact is expected or when critical events have happened, including factors which may impact delivery or cost.
• Ensure Communication and Cross-coordination with IPTs.
• Develop/refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Interact across a variety of program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management and production.
• Show strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
• Prepare status reports, metrics and make presentations as required.
• Demonstrate strong self-starter and Program Planning and Scheduling hands-on experience.

Requirements

• Experience with Critical Path Methodology.
• Experience with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool.
• Experience in schedule control processes, proposal development, internal & external audits, and project management integration.
• Experience with Microsoft Project.
• Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with Microsoft Project.

Skills

• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
