Responsibilities

• Provide services in the home, community, office, and over telehealth when appropriate
• Attend team meetings and medication consultation
• Participate in weekly supervision
• Provide individual and family therapy to patients and their families
• Collaborate with team members, medical providers, and community partners
• Maintain electronic medical records
• Work with youth and families from Level 2, 3, and 4 in the Child and Adolescent department
• Support the Cypress Center, a 16‑bed inpatient psychiatric unit for adults experiencing a mental health crisis, including medication monitoring and education, individual counseling, group interventions, family involvement in discharge planning, admissions and diagnostic/screening tools, safety planning and suicide prevention, and skills development

Requirements

• Must be enrolled at an accredited university
• Receiving credit for the internship
• Be able to commute to the office as these are not remote internships
• All internships are unpaid, and we do require flu vaccinations
